About
Hi. I started this blog on Saturday November 10, when I moved in from Blogger. My first post was about Lumosity a new website full of games and tricks to help you boost your brain power. I followed that with a review of American Gangster, favourite photos, a list of sports reports, and two gadget reviews – the Amazon Kindle, and the Chewing Gum camera.
All of these early posts set the tone for what this blog is about – reviews, comment, and brief essays on the things that I love and would love to know more about. Some of the posts are inspired by headlines, others by off-beat tales and quirky ideas. The list below is a sample of my recent and most viewed posts.
- Researchers crack the mystery of Lightning
- Girls on Bikes 2008
- The healing power of Cumin tea
- Golf supershot, Davis Love III
- Grand Theft Auto IV
- A Brief History of Anxiety by Patricia Pearson

The personal bit… I write screenplays, action thrillers. A hobby I’d like to turn into a profession. Live in Chelsea but don’t support the local team. Am with Liverpool FC, my dad supported them. Love of motorbikes – dad used to ride one, dark-humour, science fiction, comics, movies, sports, and mum’s cooking, runs in the family. Am the only girl, two brothers. Did Classical Studies at King’s College, London. Got tattooed and pierced around graduation. Mum hasn’t seen all the body-art. Dad’s in heaven. If you need to know my real name, go here, and if you’re keen to learn about my thrilling work history, go there.

Thanks to… Rebecca, Mother Nature, Jade, Em, Sportaphile, and new friends from WordPress and other communities. Your support and encouragement has been amazing. And a special thanks to all new and returning readers. I hope you enjoy the blog. It’s fun for me write, and it’s a great learning process. I love surfing the endless waves of info on web, and coming back here to post some of the nuggets I’ve found, especially photos. Let me know what you think. I’d love to hear your comments and suggestions. Thanks, and happy reading

I feel so honored to be mentioned on your blog! Also, I wanted to tell you that we have been playing “maze frenzy” from your blog and have only managed to make it through once!

Wow! Good for you guys, well done for making it through! I’ve been at it for days and got precisely nowhere - lol. It’s great having your pics up here btw. Thanx for letting me highlight them. I found a couple of videos on YouTube. I mailed MikeUMA, asked if he’d consider doing a compilation. Would be great to show off the full sequence. x

I’m stunned! Thanx so, so much for the wonderful list of leads. There’s so much to mine, it’ll keep me busy for ages. Really like the anime-style watercolours and drawings in Maria Korchagin’s collection, especially this image-

But it’s Jeffery Bedrick’s collection that I’ve completely fallen for. Some of his images are heart-stopping. I can’t believe he worked on Shrek. I love those movies!
